How does inventory synchronization work?

Connected supplier listings can sync stock through Jimvio’s supplier inventory sync, including CJ stock updates for linked variants.

What to do

1. Keep the supplier variant mapping in place.
2. Use Commerce inventory or the supplier sync status to see the stored stock.
3. Let sync update supplier-backed quantities.

Eligibility

Older external sales-channel sync pages are not the active path. Manual stock edits on a synced variant can fight the next supplier update.

If something goes wrong

• If stock looks stale, check the supplier connection before hiding the product.
• A sync error does not mean the item shipped.

When sync fails repeatedly, ticket the product and the error text from Commerce.
